Over the course of six years of artistic training under the guidance of Beaux-Arts-trained professors, oil painting - through its fluidity and discipline - revealed itself to her as an undeniable calling.

Through her portraits, her figures, at times staged and photographed in advance, move within an underground, often nocturnal world she once intimately knew.

She likes to represent the diversity of humans, the beauty of their uniqueness, and - sometimes - their inner struggles.
